The Interiors Group have fitted out the London offices of Chinese Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) on Shepherd’s Bush Green. The super-large state owned petroleum and petrochemical enterprise group has their global HQ in Beijing. Sinopec secured the freehold of a self-contained 24,000 sqft building in West London to house their European HQ. Which includes a large trading floor with back Office and administration. The CEO was very keen to provide his hardworking staff with many facilities as well as a smart and comfortable office. Located on the same floor as the Trading floor there is large and well-equipped kitchen complete with dining facilities. Here the Traders can relax and prepare food whilst keeping an eye on the Bloomberg screens. The company often provides lunch and the Asian lunches are very well attended. On the reception floor there is an impressive 30 man Boardroom compromising a state of the art audio visual system. The other meeting rooms do vary in size and all are equipped with plasma screens and video conferencing facilities in the corner room. The reception itself is tastefully done in cream and beige with a cherry veneer finish to the desk and doors. Situated further down the corridor on the Reception floor is a relaxing Business Lounge. Clients and staff who have travelled in from China and elsewhere around the world are able to freshen up in the showers and hang their clothes up before relaxing in the lounge. The subtle, oriental feel of this area instantly calms the weary traveller, providing a feeling of tranquillity away from the bustle of the Trading floor. Upstairs on the executive suite, the private offices are complete with cherry veneer furniture throughout and soft leather furnishings for informal meetings. Also, located on this floor is where the fun happens. There is a relaxium complete with pool table, karaoke, Nintendo Wii and drinks facilities. To keep the staff fit and healthy, Technogym have installed the very latest machines for the full gym situated on the same floor, complete with lockers, shower facilities and towels all provided. It is well used and the staff love it. In addition to all the interior work, The Interiors Group also designed and constructed a roof terrace. There was also a new ground floor reception lobby completely replacing the existing one, not only enhancing the look and the feel of the building, but the streetscape as well.
